Behind the Curtain: CMS Program Integrity Initiatives Every Home-Based Care Provider Should Know

Description

As CMS expands its efforts to combat fraud, waste, and abuse, home health, hospice, and home care providers must stay informed about evolving program integrity priorities. This session will guide attendees down the "Yellow Brick Road" of CMS program integrity efforts, providing an overview of current initiatives, emerging trends, and areas receiving increased scrutiny. Participants will gain insight into how CMS identifies potential program vulnerabilities, collaborates with contractors and law enforcement partners, and uses data-driven approaches to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse.

Target Audience

Home health, hospice, and home care executives; compliance officers; quality and regulatory professionals; clinical leaders; operations managers; revenue cycle and billing staff; auditors; and other individuals responsible for regulatory compliance, risk management, and program integrity activities within home-based care organizations.
