Attendees will learn how to connect each stage of their operations from initial orientation through ongoing patient care to drive successful VBP metrics. The session will cover essential strategies for onboarding, motivating and retaining staff so they can provide patient-centered care that will show continuously improving outcomes. Mike Carr, PT Senior Director of Training and Education, Axxess, Dallas, TX Mike Carr is the Senior Director of Training and Education for our Axxess e-learning product. His clinical expertise and industry knowledge have been critical to the development of the Axxess Training and Certification program.  Mike has been intimately involved in the program’s design, development, and creation and now oversees an international team of subject matter experts, content developers, engineers and support personnel. Mike joined Axxess in 2018 through the acquisition of Home Health Gold. He also has nearly 20 years of experience as a physical therapist for Bangor Area Visiting Nurses in Maine.

Continuing Education

Kansas Home Care & Hospice Association is approved as a provider of CNE by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering is approved for 1.2 contact hours applicable for APRN, RN, or LPN relicensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing provider number: LT0287-0314.
