Description
Artificial Intelligence is prepared to transform companies around the world with the promise of intelligent software doing tasks that, until now, have always required a human to perform it. This session will help agencies see where they can use artificial intelligence now, where the technology is going, and what they need to do to fully unleash it in their organizations over the next several years.

Beau Sorenson

Beau is the COO of Visionbound International and is an expert consultant and presenter. He has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on hospice and home care. He has been Administrator of Advantage In-Home Care and have served in many capacities at First Choice Home Health & Hospice, including Director of Operations, Administrator, CFO, and COO. He is also a current member of the Curantis Solutions Advisory Board.
Beau is an expert in software systems and worked with Allscripts to test and develop major new features in their Homecare application, including integrations that allow for a fully electronic medical record and an app for clinical users. He is actively involved in the home care and hospice community, having served as Legislative Director and President for the Utah Association for Home Care and currently serving on the HHFMA Advisory Board, NAHC Advocacy Council, and HCTAC Education Committee. Beau has presented breakout sessions and keynote addresses for trade associations and organizations nationwide on customer loyalty, employee loyalty, the use of AI in healthcare, improving outcomes, developing a strong culture, and change management. In addition, he has talked about using your EMR software more effectively and pulling data from your existing SQL database. Beau has also worked with individual organizations on process improvements and specific ways they can improve their organization. |

Continuing Education
Kansas Home Care & Hospice Association is approved as a provider of CNE by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering is approved for 2.1 contact hours applicable for APRN, RN, or LPN relicensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing provider number: LT0287-0314.
