
Description
The purpose of each session is to increase agency awareness of the most up to date Medicare documentation requirements. Participants will also engage in discussion of the top medical review denial reasons and documentation tips for denial prevention and receive reminders concerning available resources offered by CGS.
Additionally, this session will keep agencies informed of Medicare updates and the latest regulations impacting their billing practices. Participants will also engage in top billing errors and resolutions discussion and receive reminders concerning available resources and self-service tools offered by CGS.
Meet the Speakers
Ariel Taylor, Sr. Provider Relations Representative, Provider Outreach & Education, CGS Administrators, LLC, Jurisdiction 15 MAC
Ariel’s role is to educate and aid HHH providers and partners with their billing and technical needs. Ariel has a rich Medicare background as she has over a decade of experience in various roles as a CGS representative. Her most recent role as a Home Health and Hospice Insurance Services Specialist provided the experience of working directly with providers to ensure compliance with federal regulations, working aged accounts, and maximizing provider reimbursement. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and an Associate's Degree is Medical Billing & Coding.
Angela French, RN, BSN, HHH Senior Provider Education Consultant, Provider Outreach & Education, CGS Administrators, LLC, Jurisdiction 15 MAC
Angela has been a registered nurse since 1997, with early experience in NICU and public health. In 2010, she joined a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) to conduct home health and inpatient claim reviews and appeals, and later helped conduct the initiation of the home health probe & educate (later known as Targeted Probe and Educate (TPE)). In October 2017, she accepted a role as a Senior Medical Reviewer with CGS Administrators for Home Health and Hospice (HHH), and has also worked in HHH appeals, Quality Assurance (QA), and now her new roles as HHH Senior Provider Education Consultant. Her combined clinical and review background drives her commitment to quality care and regulatory compliance.

Registration fees per session for this series are as follows:
- KHCHA Members: FREE
- Non-Members: $50
An additional registration fee will be charged for each additional non-member login. Participants are encouraged to log in at least 15 minutes before the program begins. Following the webinar, a link to the recording will be emailed to all registrants (typically within a week). The recording will be available for 30 days.
