  Webinar Overview:    Changes in the health care system from the Affordable Care Act (ACA) require health care providers to focus heavily on prevention and self-care activities. Infection prevention (and surveillance) is included in that focus. This session will assist home health & hospice providers in understanding the immense value that surveillance programs of excellence will have in the development of vertical and horizontal integration. Programs of excellence will continuously seek to improve and enhance outcomes as well as begin to identify the areas of prevention that will soon become mandatory.  Attendees will get the chance to hear and participate in discussions on how to make those changes and still retain staff.
