RPA Association Program #1

This “Year-in-Review” snapshot includes data on 30 indicators (highlighted in appendix A) that may be used to interpret regulatory-related performance. Data for 26 of those indicators include: agency’s national percentile ranking, agency performance data, national average, national median, regional average, regional median. The remaining four measures incorporate data on distribution of patients, plus average case weight for the 10 most common primary diagnoses and 10 most common referring physicians for the agency. Data for the Year-in-Review includes information from April 2008 through March 2009, the timeframe that will likely be the center of attention for RACs and other entities.
